My Ministry

Welcome.

As an ordained minister serving individuals, couples, and faith communities in the Portland area, I offer these ministries:

Finding the right person to officiate at your wedding, help you plan a service for a loved one who has died, or walk with you on your journey toward wholeness can feel daunting. Peruse my website, read my columns, and get a sense of who I am.  Also feel free to call me.  I can help you clarify what you're looking for and let you know how I might meet your expectations.

In working with you, I will take the time and care necessary to understand you and your needs.  Because of my training and experience, I am comfortable working with people from any faith tradition or who have no religious background or beliefs at all.

Through my various forms of ministry, I have the honor and pleasure of touching your life during some of your most vulnerable moments, whether those moments include great joy or deep pain. Thus I take seriously the spiritual values to which I am called as a minister and the professional ethical codes I adhere to, whether performing rituals, preaching, or counseling.

With a small group of dedicated colleagues and lay people, I have started the Universalist Recovery Church.  Currently, we are developing our worship services, which we offer the third Sunday of every month at Eastrose Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, from 4 to 5:15 pm.  Eastrose is in Gresham, Oregon at 3311 E 181st Ave.  For more information, visit the URC website.  You can also visit us on Facebook.
